Home.

As Dr. Seuss said, "Do not cry because it's over. Smile because it happened." This has been an incredible experience. I learned so much and am still overwhelmed by everything that I did and saw. I want to continue my education and training in "Philosophy in School." (I finally handed in my final paper last night!) And I have formed priceless new friendships with fellow teachers around the world. It has been amazing.

    I've already borrowed your quote in reference to another Fellow's return. I'd like to post your story about the Rick Steves encounter on our website. Do you have a picture of you in Helsinki? Or at the least, a headshot?

    Oh great, I love that quote! And re: Rick Steves -- that's great. Yes, I actually took a self shot right after I ran into him (once I was back on the mainland). Traveling alone, I didn't end up with a lot of pictures in those places -- I was quite the observer. I will send that over later today when I'm on my home computer.
